I remember 2014 ABS-CBN had a concert here at Santa Clara Great America amusement park. There’s no pictures or any footage of it online? Anyway before Bamboo performed he said he use to live down the block from there (Great America) and go there all the time when he was younger. Pretty cool to know.

Sofronio Vasquez won the singing contest show “The Voice” tonight!!! Woh! Filipino Americans never win things like this it is shockingly amazing! He is from Mindanao! I know other Asians voted for him thank you!

Alam Mo Ba The Philippines use to celebrate Thanksgiving the same time with The US starting in 1901. Marcos in 1971 changed the date from Nov 28 to the 21 then later in 1986 ceased the celebration all together. But today some Filipinos in the Philippines celebrate it on their own.

When I was little we ate so much Spam I thought it was a Filipino dish. In elementary one day. I heard my White classmate talk about Spam and I was like you eat Spam? All excited. he was like ya? And? then I said I’m glad you enjoy my peoples food! The rest of the day he avoided me. #pinoyism #pinoy

You notice it’s always a female holding up the Philippines? Like the number one superhero is Darna and guys don’t seem to mind she is a girl. Do Filipinos see woman as equal? Cuz in the Filipino language we use words like “siya” for him or her. It doesn’t differentiate gender.
