Last spring I spent a few days working in downtown Rochester, NY and staring at this building. It creeped me out, which made words fall out of my head. That poem will be published this May in Rundelania lit mag!

Had a fun #JustWriteNovember occurrence the other day on a flight: guy was reading The Odyssey in French. I asked him about it and he said he’d already read it in English and needed a challenge, then said, “I assume you’re writing a book?” Sure am! NOT in French, though. This is challenging enough!
