I totally get what you are saying, but I'm hoping you reconsider @mechilders99.bsky.social and will still root for the #BlueJays.
Perhaps this will make it a little bit easier to root for #Toronto in the World Series. We need all the support we can get.

The blatant #hypocrisy just never ends.
There would be full blown outrage if this was Obama or Biden.
Yet they get away with it because their base falls into 1 of 2 categories:
A. They don't understand.
B. They don't care.

It only applies when it favors them.
So they use this act of violence as justification for more control, and censorship of those who don't drink the kool-aid.

I literally felt EXACTLY this.
Recently, I was not invited to a recurring lunch meetup with friends and co-workers.
Now this might have had to do with the fact that I always declined every previous invitation to join them.
Still ... it would have been nice if they asked.
The struggle is real.

Yes!! i was at my local protest too. The turnout was even better than I expected. Gives me hope in these troubled times.
