I finally realized that I was self harming by remaining in relationships where I was routinely betrayed, lied to, pacified. Once that became clear it was so much easier to stop.

Happy to say that soon after that I stopped bingeing on alcohol to run from the pain, I stopped smoking. I started being truly present even when pain was present.

It was right around this time that I was done and over it. So I picked me, got clear on exactly what I wanted, and got rid of any and everyone that had me fucked up.

Binge drinking, smoking multiple times a day, dealing with a level of betrayal and cruelty that I did not deserve or understand. Surrounded by people who literally could not give a singular fuck about me.
