“The wisdom of the crowd” fallacy. Noisy members of the public, if they are real, if they don’t have an axe to grind, are mainly lacking in real experience of multiple products.

…Editorial discretion. The editor will select the reviewer most likely to “get” the product. So you need to know the reviewer most likely to feel what you feel about the product.
Fourthly. A great review doesn’t = a great product. Read between the lines. Reviewers aren’t nasty.
