Come along to experience a range of music styles, traditions and genres taking place throughout the beautiful building. Shuttle buses will depart from outside the Honan Chapel on the main UCC campus from approximately 6.45pm, bringing attendees to the Music department. Cork Opera House, 4pm-6pm Hear, Here! This installation is the result of UCC’s Masters by Research Studentship and the UCC | Cork Opera House Creating Together Partnership. 2024-25 recipient of the UCC-Cork Opera House MRes Studentship: Joshua Dyson A New Way of Listening to Cork Hear, Here! is an immersive sound installation that harnesses the unique technological infrastructure and acoustic character of Cork Opera House to redefine how we listen to, and experience space. This is the culmination of extensive research into spatial audio, site-specific acousmatic composition, and auditory world-building.
