The parallels between the US now and 1930's Germany are stark. Hitler systematically dismantled the treaty of Versailles and Trump is dismantling the US constitution. I am a British citizen but I am posting this is solidarity with my democratic brothers and sisters protesting this fascistic regime.

250 years ago today the USA began it's fight for independence. 250 years later one man threatens to break that democracy and it seems, has no problem trying to rewrite history or the memory of the men who have died fighting for the USA.
