Good news: They’ve been able to move into temporary housing. Bad news: 13 of 15 have typhoid, 3 also have malaria. Can anyone toss in $50 for mosquito nets? They used to get them free from USAID, but Marco Rubio @state-department.bsky.social nixed those quick. www.gofundme.com/f/purchase-h...

A community member just buried his father over the weekend, and they had to leave the funeral early because of locals brandishing weapons at them. The anti-LGBT rhetoric in this election year in Uganda has emboldened people to assault and harass their neighbors. I pray we can turn the tide.
