Is it clear if Chicago is within the 100-mile border zone? I've seen conflicting maps depending on whether or not distance over water counts.

I seem to recall that Trump, not yet in office, was given credit for the Jan ceasefire by much of the press (but wasn‘t blamed when it fell through, of course 🙄)

Column | Trump moves the needle on a Gaza ceasefire
For months, Israel’s Prime Minister made a ceasefire deal seem impossible. Trump’s imminent return changed that.

It's wild that when considering thousands of pedestrian and cyclist deaths, 2/8 of their big takeaways boil down to "They should have just stayed off of the road" and another 2/8 are "Well, what were they wearing?"

I unexpectedly came across a group ride of 100+ strangers on my commute home last week. They shouted, “Join us!,” so I did, and I had a great time. I’m pretty shy, so it meant a lot that they invited me along.

If I’d been driving and become part of 100-car traffic, it would just feel frustrating.

Are there still big concerns about LLMs outputting copyrighted code without attribution? I recall some issues with Copilot doing this during its early days, and I wonder if they’ve made improvements to their public code filter since then.

Right, but the graphic in the original post seems to use land borders only, so the zone is measured from the coastline of Lake Michigan.

I was curious about the same thing. The Wikipedia map for the 100 miles zone (which may be incorrect) is drawn in a way to exclude Chicago.
