For the #backyard prompt of #Feathruary2025, I drew the Northern Flicker, which visits often in the woods outside my home. They are also known as "Yellowhammers", named for the yellow plumage under the outer feathers and for their pecking behavior.

It's #SuperbOwl Sunday, so here's this little bird (go birds). The Eastern Screech Owl is a mostly solitary bird, living in cavities in trees. While they are monogamous (they mate for life) they only live together for the breeding season.

Today is the start of my #Feathruary art with prompts by @mischievousredfox.bsky.social and Project Parlor. Enjoy my Rainbow-billed Toucan (Multicolored) named for its vibrant colors. This large beak is great for nipping fruit off trees, tossing it into the air, and swallowing the meal whole.
