Getting early access out so the backers got what they paid for, also to provide updates that aren’t hidden beneath posts about non-dev related things. I definitely was responding in anger, and i take accountability for that. However, it is good to give criticism to the devs for messy management.

As in my other posts, i did apologize to the person i @ ‘ed for my anger and miswording. I don’t hate the developers or the game for trying, my main criticism was the lack of updates, and lack of clarity on what the hell their development path is. I recommended steam as an easier source for-

FNF developers have been slacking on this aspect, they don’t understand that people WILL NOT dig for content updates, and don’t care about non-dev related stuff. And why choose a mobile port NOW of all times? Save that for after final release.

Thats exactly what I’m saying. The best thing you need to do in game development is streamline so everyone can access content and updates. Steam does that all for you. It pings you with new updates every time a game has an update post, it gives access to content early, it also promotes the game.

Oh my god this account was unofficial I AM SO SORRY LOL

I personally feel it would’ve been more efficient to go ahead with the steam page, since that’s where most of its playerbase would be going in the end on final release. I mainly talk about this because Prodeus did something similar to what i’m describing, and it made development easier.

Yeah i’m just confused by how they have chosen to manage updates and rewards, especially when they chose to do a mobile port instead of start up a steam page first. The game is not even close to finished at all, so why would they port it now?

Wouldn’t it have been easier if early access codes went out for the major updated content on steam and then the other versions were locked to a demo? I feel like going for a mobile port was the worst way to go on development.
November 15, 2025 at 6:13 PM
That was not my point. My point was that the kickstarter and development was mismanaged and those who have backed the project now feel scammed because rewards / codes are not going out. Indie games take time, i know that. I’m giving criticism to the management of the kickstarter and rewards.

Apologies. I misread.

On top of that, there could have been a demo version with limited content put out to newgrounds / mobile / steam and then early access would be for major updates and new builds with expanded content for those who paid and backed the project.

Are you still continuing Spirit Bathhouse? I haven’t seen posts about it in a long time! Really love the series!
