I am developing FURNETIX, a light-hearted spelling game with a dyslexic feel. This is a prototype card! It uses difficult dictionary words, but I add funny "quips" at the bottom to keep the tone fun. What do you think of this design?

Mulching was clunky. Playtesting revealed timing issues. I refined it with a dedicated "Mulch Phase" and a token system. This highlights the importance of iterating on initial ideas and player feedback.

One of my favorite details is card design! I focused on making them incredibly easy to read while holding them in your hand. Every card is designed so you can quickly see all the important details - keywords, symbols, everything! - without having to flip them around. This makes gameplay smoother.
