They didn't end the filibuster for all debate. Just for these appointments. Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell were both said to have invoked unclear options. That phrase is overused. In my opinion, reconciliation bills are nuclear.

This is fantastic news. It's shameful that charges were sought, worse yet that a grand jury allowed it to go to trial, and even worse that a jury convicted him. Absolute miscarriage of justice.

Meh, plenty of Democrats used the same logic in voting for the IRA (or even the ACA). Both were shells of their original intent and deeply flawed, but the best Congress could get across the finish line.

After Revolution, Vineyard, Sunrise, Coastal Virginia, and Empire come online, it will literally be 10 years minimum before another offshore windfarm powers up here.
