When you can't imagine what it's like to have free time or can't see that there a million things you could do with it
My question is what are people who use The Agentic Web planning to do with all the time "saved"? You don't work or plan family events. You don't talk to coworkers or peers or read emails. You don't make playlists and you don't listen to podcasts or books. What are you doing when you wake up?
Wouldn't do this in a million years

The most online people in the world get so mad when new stuff comes online.

They can walk away, opt out, or just refuse to engage anytime. It really is that simple.

It's either like they've forgotten this or they can't control their FOMO.

Folks, it's OK. The dad's terminally ill. He has energy for about 4h/day, needs to work to keep his insurance. He wants to max his time with the people closest to him.

That's why he thinks AI is great.
There's a lotta people in his situation. More than you know.
But, you were saying...?

Congratulations everyone, a lot of people who have an unhealthy relationship with social media also live unimpeachable lives and they're logging on to improve you or chastise you!

LISTEN UP, I'M ABOUT TO GO OFF ABOUT AN IMAGINARY DAD USING AI.

This is from a 2020 presentation. Now it's just the chaos we live in, and no such description is needed.

The angry replies to this are like a who's who of people unnerved by absolutely everything.

Fry bigger fish, folks.
Google has renamed the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America in its Maps application for users in the U.S. People located in Mexico will still see the name Gulf of Mexico, while international users will see both names, the company said. The change follows an executive order from President Trump.

Yes, this AI-generated search result is complete bullshit.

And no, you cannot see what I originally typed in to generate the search result.

Please, just join me in my outrage. Your naive cynicism and lack of critical thinking ability are fun to exploit. Like and repost!

Zuckerberg to Meta employees: "Buckle up"

I wonder when the last time Zuckerberg buckled up was. Safe to say that the unspoken part of his message was "...so I never have to."

$1000 to anybody who gives Mark a swirly in the women's restroom.

And hey, any promotion you get from Mark afterwards is just more gravy for you
(Bloomberg) -- Mark Zuckerberg lamented the rise of "culturally neutered" companies that have sought to distance themselves from "masculine energy," adding that it's good if a culture "celebrates the aggression a bit more."

Met with a former Meta leader today who had a strong reaction to the fact-checking team news from yesterday. They summed it up this way, "Everything Mark said was ridiculous. He's so clearly and transparently trying to kiss Trump's ass."

Anybody got a link from a reputable source confirming Google has given money to Trump's inauguration fund?

I keep seeing them listed with others who donated, but every article I've read leaves them off the list.

Something I'll never understand:
Why don't all the opinion writers who hate the web just start a tech company and fix it? Or at least be a beacon of their idea of a better internet?

They should do that. They've done the hard part - written a couple hundred words about what they don't like

We invited tech pundit Scott Nover to comment on the tension between the criticisms he cites in his article and the ads that run throughout his article on @fastcompany.com.

He declined and blocked in response to a polite comment that merely cited facts and asked for a followup.
