In my church we pray this week that God’s ministers will be used to turn the hearts of the disobedient to “the wisdom of the just.” May we all be on that quest to find this Wisdom.

Working my way through Willa Cather’s novels.

This line from O Pioneers! sticks with me: “there are only two or three human stories, and they go on repeating themselves as fiercely as if they had never happened before...”

Maybe it is not literally true, but it seems to be true enough.
