How many of you remember as a kid being mortally petrified of a world ending earthquake from the Iben Browning Dec 3, 1990 prediction of a quake on the new Madrid fault line? I used to freak out when a large truck drove by.

I wish I loved anything as much as old people who tanked the economy and are sitting on thousands in the bank love saying they’re on a “fixed income”. Us millennials have been lucky to not all be homeless even with full time jobs.

Lost my first patient. I watched him go from talking and laughing to bed ridden in one week worth of shifts. He left us after I got off Friday. I’m not sure how to “get used to” this.

Have my first 12 hour night shift tonight, passed out at 2AM, woke up at 8 and can’t sleep anymore today. Going to be a banger!

This may sound naive or silly but I need to feel safe and comfortable on a social site. IMHO, the term social is literal. Once it’s a free for all laden with “Free Speech” at everyone’s expense, I would rather not use it. Call me a policy hound if you must.

Crazy theory but just from the number of people I know who stopped drinking and doing other unhealthy things since 2020, I feel like there is a LOT of socially awkward people who relied on alcohol (and other things) to suffer forced social situations. The lockdown was an awakening, of sorts.

I’m trying to be optimistic but it really does feel like I’ve stepped into a psuedo clique situation where I’m the new awkward transfer student. 🤣🤣🤣
