I think the key driver is creating a true improvement plan, anything vague or without a measurable goal won’t drive improvement. There also needs to be accountability and consistent evaluation of the plan #edsi6321

It needs to start with trust. Without trust there can not be a mentor relationship. I need to trust that I’ll be supported and you need to trust that I’ll do the best I can #edusky #edsi6321

I would say to build a relationship based on the students interest and try to have that interest build a base of education. Assignments can meet the standards and still apply to the interest of the student, and celebrate achievements when possible #edusky #edsi6321

I think the minimum should be five. That is enough time to show that people are dedicated to the profession, have moved past the three year wall, and are prepared to be instructional leaders
