I'm fascinated by the things I'm learning while working on the Canvassing and Campaigns subcommittee for the @kzoodems.bsky.social! It makes my little nerd heart happy to crunch data to effect change. I'm proud of the work I do for the KDCP, and I get much more out of it than I expected.

Last night's home improvement project. I've been stalking this bidet from LUXE Bidet and it finally went on a deep enough sale for me to pull the trigger. I installed this myself in less than 30 minutes. Everything I needed came in the box and it couldn't have been simpler. #notsoseekritlair

$990 🐈⬛📸 later they both have all of their shots, claws trimmed, flea treatment, bloodwork, new diabetic kibble to try, etc. All is forgiven, I got them new catnip toys from the animal rescue, and they're busily cleaning the vet stench off themselves. Ingrates. #notsoseekritlair

Garden update and lots of pictures! 6-21-25
Well, I started this post on Memorial Day but it's been a minute. Back then I had just planted four eggplants, four hills of cucumbers, four red bell peppers, and a small fabric pot of basil to augment the two pots of basil I already had going. Because really, who minds more basil? I surely do not. I was talking about the cool black plastic materials trays that I'd just gotten.
