I swear to god I have no idea how many times that just killed the pace and made me lose progress or straight up die in a pit. Same with "Fall Damage".
I can't put in words how frustrating both just is.

Then I exclusively used the jump tape as the benefits by then heavily outweigh the other one.

I'd say it's a big ol' "first game" syndrom. Showed more than enough potential to make me wonder how much a sequel might improve... everything!

Using the hoverboard is good and all but I would have loved if there was... more involved aside from jump at the right time, trick, trick, trick.
The tapes had some uses tho for me that boiled down to the "connecting" power that gives you a speed boost on board until you get a fast one.
