However, instead of making me chase her around the complex, she did actually get in the van when I asked her to, so she got a pup cup at 7 Brew for not driving me TOTALLY insane.

And somehow, I’m the parent of a 14 year old.

I am SO incredibly proud of the progress Eric’s made in the past year. We’ve got a way to go, but he’s definitely on the right path to success now.

I don’t know what 14 holds for him, but I can’t wait to find out.

Today, my first little love drew his final breath.

I know everyone thinks their dog is the best dog, but I truly believe Archie WAS the best dog. From puppyhood, he was so laid back, and such a gentle, kind soul.

Until we meet at the Rainbow Bridge, my sweet boy ❤️

He’s always loved Hamilton (he even dressed up as Hamilton for Halloween a few years ago), but I think it might have more meaning for him this year after attending his first protest. We talked about how the ideals are still relevant, you just sub England and King George for MAGA and Trump 😑

Happy to be raising sons with a man who’s not afraid to show his emotions, have empathy and compassion for others, and reject toxic masculinity. They (and the world) will be all the better for it ❤️

We took this one to his first protest this morning. He absolutely LOVED it, and says protesting is his new favorite thing after watching wrestling with dad. He was already asking about the next protest before the last of the march had even made it back!

Went to Candles and Queens at Flora Candle Co. last night with my friends Heather and Taylor. We got to pour candles (my first time!) and watch a great drag show put on by some of our best local queens.

I named my candle Sexy Professor’s Tweed Jacket (leather, bourbon, tobacco, vanilla).

My principal: Decorate and name a snowman, and turn it into me.

Me: Bet.
