Happy The Last of Us Season 2 day! Hopefully it's not swing and a miss 😉

This was a fun early woodwork/laser cut project I did when I was first learning to laser cut.

A very beautifully illustrated story, with especially relevant themes that will stand the test of time.

Throwback to some of my earliest work.

This was my first exercise in playing with text-based illustration. I used a helmet from the game Dragon Age: Inquisition for the frame and filled it with character names/items/etc.

Charcoal pencil illustration of a simple scene. Stripped the scene down to its simplest forms while still keeping the most important details.

*Some warping due to age of the paper*

It's Friday everyone, maybe relax and play a game.

Here's a Twitch gamer, visual identity package I made. Wanted to throw in some retro, golden/silver age comics feel to it.

Throwback to the first magazine concept cover I made in 2014. Good to remember where you started.

The FireAid benefit concert is tonight. Many great artists there, some great merch too. Net proceeds go to FireAids wildlife relief efforts, or you can donate online.

A 3D form study scuplture. Built using tissue paper, wooden dowels, and glue sealant.

Looked at general sail boat mast/sail combos for the inspiration here.

'Critical Space' - Samantha Goodman.
She asked me to create the poster for the show.

The show was about human nature - the good and the bad. These oil paintings captured everyday scenes depicting candid perspectives of life.

I had the opportunity to work with my former professor of foreign language to create a Chinese calligraphy workshop poster.

Decided to stick with simplified letter forms to keep it approachable.

Something fun in a very trying time.

POPS - Performed by the Coker University band. Greatly enjoyed collaborating with the composers on which music to showcase in the poster.

Set 3 of my "Art Movements through History" infographical art series.

Definitely wanted to play with the forms from 'Beat the Whites with the Red Wedges' here.

Movements shown: Russian Constructivism (1913-1940's) / Bau Haus (1923-1933)

'Divr' - An app concept for user generated content that's shared in a fun, creative learning platform.

While still in the concept phase, I'm confident this could become a possibility with the right team.

App demonstration next post.

After Hours. A poster for an exhibit by Triston Blanton. It explored the overlooked cleaning service field through tile installation art. The marks/tile in the poster highlight just how challenging this field is.

A fun logo redesign for a golf course not long ago.

Redesign needed to be adaptive, as the old one wasn't exactly fit for that. They also wanted to aim for a more adventurous, positive vibe.
