Okie, ramble over. No clue if anyone will ever read this. I just felt compelled to share this with the void.

My hope is that the new account will let me "reset" how I engage with social media. While I may still *post* NSFW, it will be clearly labeled and spoilered. Any engagement with others would mostly be for SFW content. I will also use tags and watermarks to clearly indicate "this pic is of this OC".

That said, having a SFW account and then a NSFW account seemed like such a headache. Same goes for having dedicated OC accounts... I always wanna make new characters. It'd become too cumbersome to always switch accounts.

I do kinda wish I could go back and have better separated SFW from NSFW. While I do make NSFW pics, I prefer that my feed stay mostly SFW. An odd contrast, I realize. I also felt bad for those following me who maybe didn't want to see the NSFW content, especially so frequently.

Anyhoo, I also felt odd using a watermark for my pics while the watermarked name often didn't match the OC pictured. It always annoyed me, lol. I already deleted my account on that other site long ago, but I don't wish to delete this account nor purge it. So a fresh start account makes sense to me.

"Sojourner" refers to how fleeting I can be. I'll pop in now and then. I can't guarantee how long I'll stay, how long I'll have the itch to take screenies. It may last many long months, it may last a few short weeks. The desire will always return, just there is temporariness to it each time around.

It always felt weird having an account named "Thea" when I had so many OCs. Heck, Thea wasn't even the name of the character I played in-game, and most friends didn't call me that either. It may sound strange, but I actually don't know what I want my online alias to be.
