Godot is a lot of fun, very odd jumping into it at first though my favourite aspect is that the engine itself is coded in their GDscript, so once you learn their code you're able to interact really well with the engine

I did a swap from unity to Godot some way through a project because of the *drama* a while back, but I was nowhere near as far through as that, I'd say stay the course and once it's done begin the learning process imo.

That's really interesting, I can't think of a solution right now but i have seen it done before by pretending the treads exist but actually only simulating a number of tyres with hydraulics to get a similar effect.

Oh absolutely, and Godot is close enough to python that alot of it makes sense retrospectively. Also Godot has superb documentation 😁

Honestly in my experience there are lots of really good examples in Godot, have you looked through the asset library? Also how realistic are you wanting to go with the treads?

Reminds me a lot of enter the gungeon which is high praise 😁

Python is good, though GDS is different enough that there was some learning curve aha, but tab based programming is a habit you need to develop aha

Ah? What engine are you used to? Godot is really user friendly in my experience!

Best thing about Godot, just build on top of the card game 😁
