@howard.fm I think you should look into this if you don’t want to be tied directories, it’s like conda but for pyenv. It does not put in your local project directory but puts packages in a global virtual env then do your pip installs.

We had to ditch conda as well.

What’s your next book about?

Trying to find the right features to judge great sourdough bread. I’m constantly modifying recipes with different ratios and am exploring a ranking system to based on:

- pH
- flavor
- height/width per 500 gr of flour
- flour type
- water ratio
- etc

The issue with flavor is so subjective.
