Had to do a fan blade lube and install on a RR Trent the other day. Here is the engine with the blades removed. Just look at how small that core is. The engine has a 6.4:1 bypass ratio- for every one ‘unit’ of air that goes in to the core, 6.4 ‘units’ go down the bypass

An old picture of myself from around 2017. I was working on a mod program to fit wifi on an A319/320/321 fleet. Here I’m drilling a 17mm hole straight through the belly skin for an antenna connection. I used to have to comb swarf out of my beard regularly
