Very relevant to my interests, being about the memoir of an author who heads to Antarctica to research a novel she has planned. Lots of great insight into the flux and shift of the poles and the psychic impact it has on its (usually temporary, sometimes regular) residents. Loved it.

Got this second hand. It was fine. The British Library anthologies are a bit more interesting, imo, and do a bit more work to break out of Lovecraft’s shadow.

Just found a tool which can alter the tone of whatever text you put in it. It's not very good, but it does have a sarcasm function.
