It's not going to tank the economy, it's not going to make the media any more hostile towards Labour and right now there's zero political risk election wise. So the only reasons they won't are cowardice or agreement 2/2

No offence but we're over 4 years away from the next general election with a massive Labour majority. If they can't be brave and stand up for the trans community now why should we believe they ever can be? Right now they could make things better and let the media, Tories and Reform fume about it 1/2

laws around the discomfort of people towards others, because you'd open up an endless rabbit hole of new bigotry through the precedent, targeting every minority under the sun, all based on "discomfort"

Me? I find the fixation on less than .5% of the population's bathroom habits discomforting.
