Books #10 & #11 of 2025.
When I saw the trailer for the Clown in a Cornfield movie earlier this year I couldn't believe it was real. I was even MORE surprised to learn that it was based on a book! I enjoyed these more than I thought it would. Fun, YA slashers.

I forgot to keep up with this list. Whoops.
Book #9 of the year: We Used To Live Here.
This ended up being pretty different than what I was expecting, but ultimately I enjoyed it quite a bit!

I got to meet Ernie Reyes Jr (Keno TMNT 2 Secret of the Ooze & Stunt Work for Donatello [the best turtle] in the first movie)! I was very nervous, but he was super nice and he said he liked my tattoo!

Late Halloween pics. I went as NXT Era Bray Wyatt, and the night before Halloween my partner had the idea to go as me, and honestly I've never looked better!

Book #8 this year. God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater by Kurt Vonnegut. You know what? I'm starting to think this Kurt Vonnegut guy knows what he is doing. Loved this book, shockingly as relevant in 2025 as it would have been in 1965 when it was first published.

All of the Silksong hype made me decide to give Hollow Knight another try after bouncing off of it a few years ago and I'm glad I did! I managed to roll credits on it. Metroidvanias aren't usually my cup of tea, but I totally get why people love it as much as they do!

I need someone more knowledgeable about Magic than me to confirm that you can't actually build a Sinister Six Commander deck with one of the villain cards. Did I miss a 3/4/5 color Villain?

Book 7 of the year, The Buffalo Hunter Hunter! My goal was 6 books this year, but I'm going to try for 10

I'm happy to announce that I am finally the last person alive to finish a Balatro run! Normally I wouldn't count this, but it has been (and likely will be) a long time since I finished a game!

Book#6 of the year is Mike Drucker's Good Game, No Rematch. Hilarious, heartbreaking, heartfelt. A great read!
Also this means I have completed my goal of reading 6 books by the end of the year! Do I go for 10?

When I die, no need to do an autopsy. This thing is my C.O.D. Also I know the flavor is supposed to be a mystery, but spoiler alert, it is children's cough medicine. Absolutely vile.

Book #5 of the year. Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut. I am mad at myself at how long it took me to read this. Absolutely incredible. Deserves all the praise it gets!

I worked at Red Lobster for close to 13 years. Clearly I had to build this. Unfortunately, I didn't open one from my pre-orders. I impulse bought a Collector booster on my lunch break today AND THE CAR PULL CAME THROUGH!

I was going to pick this up eventually, after my pile of books I need to read got smaller. Instead I decided to go out and get it today.
