In my memory they were a 3-piece in ‘98 so was not expecting a second guitarist, let alone one as good as Paul. Some serious Crazy Horse vibes at times.

At the end of the house tour he says “I’m sorry, I’m so rude! Do you guys want any drugs?” (We declined as we had a long drive home.) Philly hospitality.

Last time I saw them was in 1998 at “The Human BBQ” at a frat house at UPenn. My friend Adam and I drove up from DC. A kid we connected with from the Drone-On listserv was a PiLam brother and gave us a tour of the (scary dirty) upstairs of the house.
