I dont think everyone should take part in politics. Only those who own property and pay taxes are truly independent and able to make political decisions. The workers and women should be protected by the law and enjoy civil rights, but politics must be with the citizens who contribute to the nation.

I believe the Declaration is right to say that all men are born free and equal in their rights, and that power should belong to the nation rather than the king or the nobles. The old system has to end. Every man should be equal and able to succeed based on talent, not by birth.

I will now discuss why I was such a great person during the American Revolution. Unfortunately I was not there during that time but you know that pamphlet I wrote (What Is the Third Estate?) that was really helpful for the Americans because they used my cool ideas to help them become independent.
