Thanks! I remember that I somehow messed up the mic position for those tracks but I didn’t have a chance to re-record. I had a hard time mastering them to sound okay. Recording guitar is so hard!

I started using a SM81 and a Rode NT1 set up about 2-3 feet away. Both of my guitars have good projection, so I don't have to be that close. I would rather hear more distance than my nails which become too present if I am too close.

I use Cubase almost exclusively and love it, though I know Reaper has come a long way. The Dorico integration will get better.

Whatever you choose as the artist is acceptable. Can't wait to hear it.
