None of these authors had a choice. The new company acquired the previous one, alongside all the publishing rights. The books are all held hostage.

Because they signed on before the first company showed signs of trouble. The authors affected aren't anyone who might have signed on to the second company.

So according to the gun shop owner he said had been building 9mm machine guns in the West Bank before he immigrated at around 23 years old. That's not impossible, but I'm pretty skeptical. Especially because apparently the cops never followed up on these reports.
