PhD student in Environmental Ecology at Northumbria University, studying moths! Into wildlife, photography, crafty things and kayaking. Chronically illness can't keep me down 🦋🐛🏳️🌈 She/Her.
Turned up to a field site tonight and the lovely lady who met me there gave me two beautiful green jumpers with the Moths in Toon slogan embroidered on them! She thought it would help if I had an identifying "uniform". Genuinely nearly cried, I'd been having a rough day till that point.

The downside to visiting a flower garden is that when I want to chase and photograph bees and butterflies, they always go into the off-limits area out of range of phone cam. So just pretty flower pics instead so far

Just sharing this on here. The conference may be done but my project is far from over! Was quite proud of my pilot data as shown on this poster, and hopefully next time round I will be presenting my completed PhD instead! #butterfly_and_moth_congress#FoB25#MothsMatter
