I’m currently working on a “Lafufu” or, a fake Labubu. I need to finish glazing the clay pieces and crocheting the body before I attach the clay pieces. I’m not obsessed with Labubus, but I am kind of fascinated with them and how something so simple can be so popular.

Another kitty portrait. This time it’s a memorial painting for my friend. We both loved her kitty, so I felt it appropriate to make something to remember him. Behind him are symbols of the goddess Bastet, which I’m sure that she lovingly guided him to the afterlife. He was a good boy.

Two kitty portraits that I’ve done recently for a friend. Both are 8”x8”.

Two kitty portraits that I’ve done recently for a friend. Both are 8”x8”.
Decided to do a mixed media project. Painted a leather panel, then have been adding a crocheted shawl to it. I had to punch a zillion holes along the border of the leather panel, then I painted it and covered it with acrylic finisher and waterproofing spray.

Hey all, just paint right now to ask- what can I make that people would actually buy? Paintings and painted jackets don’t seem to be it. I am broke and need a source of income since I can’t seem to land a job. Thanks!

Progress on the rainbow dragon jacket. There’s just a small spot I haven’t covered in copper yet, but I’m packing it in for the night.

I’ve started another jacket- rainbow dragon! I’m not only painting the back, but I’m knitting new sleeves for it. I might paint the front too- we’ll see!

This is my fourth attempt at my Twi’lek hat pattern. The peach one was 3. I will be letting the leks short from now on as these were very heavy to wear. I am using this hat in a costume.

I’m working on making a Twi’lek hat pattern for knitting. Once I perfect it I’ll have test knitters and eventually publish it. I will try to make patterns for the headpieces as well.
