we encourage all community groups and third sector organisations in Inverclyde to join the network. Especially those groups who may not directly do climate-based activities but work with vulnerable people, who we know will be impacted by climate change the most.

Hi everyone,

As some of you may be aware, we tragically lost Davie to a short illness last year. This month, we'll be doing a sponsored bike ride in his memory to raise money for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland. (1/2)

Last week, our new EEP team were in Port Glasgow doing a grand job of clearing up the stairs at Barr's Brae and powerwashing the benches & gazebo in Falconer Square. Gotta have the place neat & tidy before we can celebrate the town's 250th birthday.

Our Environmental Works project is funded by Inverclyde Council and delivered by The Trust on behalf of Inverclyde Council.

Our Environmental Works trainees and supervisors are currently helping the maintenance team at Greenock Cemetery carry out improvements at the Rankin Memorial Garden, tidying up this very special place which is important to so many of us in our community. (1/2)

Today, Inverclyde Community Development Trust pauses to remember Victory in Europe Day, marking the end of World War II in Europe on May 8, 1945. We honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those from Inverclyde who served and those who gave their lives for peace and freedom.

Spring is (almost) here, the sun is shining, and we’ve finally managed to finish off painting the historic Port Glasgow Steam Hammer!

The hammer now looks amazing, having been restored to its former glory. Well done to our trainees & supervisors who worked on this project for #PG25 #portglasgow2025
