I know several men who have left. They all have families and wanted better lives for their kids. In some cases there were other factors, but kids were the common denominator.

I carry mine out of habit. But in my usual daily life, I don’t need it. I don’t fly often, no one cards me any more, I’m not driving due to a cast. If I need it for a doctors visit or voting I can plan for that. Especially if they pay for stuff with their phone, it’s easy for me to see leaving it.
