The rest of the world can’t trust the US again unless the checks and balances work and you stop allowing presidents to pardon anyone they want and place sycophant’s in positions of power. I know no system is perfect, but the US system could do with a few changes for the better.

When the media allow Trump to say anything he wants, regardless of whether it’s true or not, without calling him out live, this is the result. If I did this I’d be called a bull sh****er by people.

And took all the sensitive personal data they could lay their hands on by granting DOGE access to sensitive government data. Trump has openly allowed public servants to abuse their position for personal profit. Zero oversight.

Just the thought of him gives me a bowel movement. I’m sure he knows the damage he’s done. But he’s an utter charlatan. Like a dog returning to his own Brexit vomit he just can’t help himself. Can’t be seen to have buggered it all up. Sad man indeed.

It’s the system. Wasn’t made to cope with the high number of PM changes over a short period of time that we’ve had. It’s become a bloated house full of people of low and sometimes questionable quality simply along party lines.

All of them blame others for not implementing the “right” Brexit, whatever that was as there was no Brexit Manifesto.
Where does this end? Brexiteer politicians can string this out for years while we all get poorer and eat “for UK only” food and soon to be drinking sub-standard water.

Doesn’t matter, they do it via a head figure. Surely the maxim value in total donations to a political party over a period of time has to be the only way around this firestorm coming. £ creates corruption in politics.

The modern “wealth creator” doesn’t exist. These people pay no or very little tax as they don’t work, live off assets that grow, and don’t actually employ people. They just want their money to grow and care nothing for anyone else. The days of the true rich Victorian philanthropist are long gone.

👍🏼 Democracy fundamentally values equality and gives a voice to every citizen. It didn’t help that Cameron stifled any real discussion and understanding of the issues by refusing to allow blue on blue challenge. So we ended up with three word slogans and tractors smashing into polystyrene walls.

All because hardly anyone who voted to leave or remain knew how the country worked. The majority still don’t as none of this is taught in school! As long as this situation remains we have an electorate voting on stuff they don’t understand unless they go on to study this in college.

It’s a problem with our school education. Students are not being taught the basics, I.e. how does the country work.
