Milk and bread. People who spent so much lives under lobbyists, that they think that they should be eating multiple servings of bread a day for fiber and milk everyday for strong bones.

The food pyramid was purposefully made wrong

👎 Outdated Fact #1: “The Food Pyramid is the model for healthy eating.”

👍 It reflected the interests of the food industry rather than scientific accuracy, overgeneralizing the impact of eating different types of fats and meats. In 2011, @usdagov.bsky.social replaced it with MyPlate.

👋🏽 hi, we’re making the viral website! Since most disproven facts don’t have a hard cutoff year for when they were no longer taught in school, the graduation year thing will just be a fun feature that won’t be 100% accurate. But you’ll find a ton of outdated facts you might have been taught anyway!
