I spent a part of my life working closely with multimillionaires. It was … difficult. Everything really is about money for them, because they have nothing else. It’s their only measure of self-worth. It’s why they seem so infantile. They have no other way to matter to the world, and they know it.

It’s very true. They’re only good at one thing and that’s being charismatic. If they had to actually do something they’d fall apart in a nanosecond.

Audio seems to be one of the most overlooked things in social media postproduction. Endless hours making the picture look good, but the host always sounds like they’re in a recording booth even when they’re standing on a windswept plain 30 meters from the camera.

I agree the stupid villain wasn’t the usual archetype we were raised on, but it makes sense when you think about it. They aren’t really good at anything other than yelling and smiling. It isn’t surprising they screw everything up. People with actual skills are too busy using them to cause trouble.
