Not only is it more energy efficient to simply not use AI, but it's also better to not use AI for literally every other reason, too! Critical thinking skills are down, reading and writing capabilities are down, AND the earth is on fire because you wanted a picture of yourself in studio ghibli style.

I’m always going to light a racist, homophobe or transphobe up because some of y’all have gotten too comfortable with the mindset of “block and move on” and not denouncing the behavior loudly. Especially in online spaces. If you claim to be an ally to marginalized communities, speak up.
"why are we giving the comic attention" because i would rather light a racist cartoonist's shit UP instead of ignoring it and pretending they are some kind of weird anomaly in their thinking. shit is pervasive. we are obligated to call this shit out, LOUDLY. why else do you think it's like this.

I saw someone say AI is useful because it generates ideas. My dude, I'm full of ideas. I have docs and docs marked under 'ideas.' I have outlines and fragments of stuff I might work on. Trunked stories galore. Even if I continue to write a novel a year for the next 40 years I won't run out of ideas.
