I took the loculus to Midwinter A&S (an arts and sciences event in the Kingdom of Meridies of the SCA). It was examined by three judges and they gave me good feedback, and I received a score of 18 out of 20, my best score to date.

It has been a while! Life got crazy in like 60 ways. So to get rolling again, a WIP pic of a near-copy of a 1st-Century Roman loculus, a wooden box. This one is tiny tiny, done in the same size as the original. Got a little more fitting to do, must be done by Friday night!
