tbh I think they want to drive us into debt, and recreate debtors prisons where they can enslave people to do this work. They’ve already sold people to El Salvador. They will easily trick their own voters into thinking this is a good idea, as long as its happening to someone else

we saw it in his first term. We also saw no one do anything about it in either party. This time the corruption is basically a known entity that came with electing him and if the legal system won’t stop it, what are we the people supposed to do about it if those with the authority to do it won’t?
