it falls between kolourpaint and gimp. was originally meant to be a paint.net replacement, but the scope has shrank a bit. Still nice to have it.

me switching back to penguin land as soon as they announced win11 purposefully wouldn't allow users to move the taskbar. it's been fun watching Microsoft shoot themselves in the foot over and over

oh that makes sense, similar looking pics are easy to mistake. very cute raccoon prints!

i wish i could see lil critter trails like that more here, but we rarely get snow and it hardly sticks around when we do.

oh i figure possum tootsies were more splayed out, and thems there look kinda like raccoon footies. it's possible that maybe I'm not so good with critter identification.

I believe this is an oversimplification of how chemo works, and yes overdosing ivermectin would cause more harm and/or kill less cancer.

it's easy to focus only on the downsides of a thing we don't like without fully analyzing the problems with things we do. Until geothermal can work everywhere that nuclear can, there is a reasonable case to be made for better nuclear reactors to fill the gaps in power left by renewables.

It's practically impossible to power the planet only with solar and wind and existing hydro. Building up energy storage and rewiring the world will also take decades of work, same as nukes.

We NEED new nuclear plants (SMR and more efficient/safe designs) and geothermal to fully replace fossil fuel.

boomers/gen x'ers who grew up huffing lead from the air be like "the world is becoming more violent unlike the good old days" not realizing they grew up with a skyrocketing murder rate that didn't drop until the 90's when hyper violent video games just happened to start appearing.
