Let's help preserve video games so they can be enjoyed by future generations rather than lost in the abyss of time.

Do yourself a favor and watch movies and short films by Nick Park. Watch them alone, with your partner or with your family. If you like Disney style movies, you'll love them :)

He directed/produced movies like Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run, Shaun the Sheep and Early Man.

Hi ken! I see you have a signal number for tips. May I recommend to make use of the signal username feature instead? It will allow you to keep your number private and also change it at a whim if it ever gets abused. Just a friendly tip!Cheers

Is there any tool at all, for bsky which would allow people to place themselves on a list rather than having an administrator manage who's in or out of the list?

@davidpakman.bsky.social Hi David, I enjoy TDPS. I was wondering, have you heard of Matt Stoller? He's a writer and former policymaker focusing on the politics of market power and antitrust. He has many insights relevant to politics. Would love to see him on your show!

Frankly, OpenAI's latest post is a fair suggestion on how to use LLMs for education, highlighting the risk of confabulation and their limitations and pushing for transparency of usage in citations. Refreshing not to read an AI-hype post like there are so many of.

When the training data for LLMs contain everything and anything, from facts to errors and is entangled with all kinds of human negative aspects like bad faith arguments, lies or deception, how can we get anything but a human replica as an AI?

A CBS/MIT documentary from 1961 named "The Thinking Machine". A fascinating conversation from the early times of AI. Highly recommended.

While there are numerous advanced open-weight LLMs released these days, there is still a gap in how they perform comparatively once quantized.

Rebuilding my initramfs using dracut to better understand the underlying mechanisms. Currently stuck as I can't seem to be able to mount my unlocked luks partition from the dracut emergency shell. Getting a "mounting failed: no such file or folder".
Any pointers as to what it may be linked to?
