YouTube for a short while was pushing far right shit as well, but after blocking a few of those channels, it stopped. That was happening around 2016 as well.

shit like Ben Shapiro, Dan Bongino, and Joe Rogan even though I was actively blocking those groups and people without interacting. That made me delete my Facebook account back in like 2016. Instagram wasn't much better so I deleted that account as well.

Snapchat is a lot of thirst traps as well

When I first signed up for Tik Tok, it was like right on the dot 11 pm constant thirst traps. It got better after a couple of weeks, but good god it was sad. I deleted my account after the whole debacle though so I have no idea what the state is now.
