It does. And that fact will not matter. A dictator need not follow the law.

Illegal and unconstitutional on its face, it may be, but that only matters to someone who cares about the constitution and the law. We have passed the point of no return now. We now slide ever swiftly into the whirlpool of authoritarianism.

Supposed strongmen are actually weak men/women being held up by other sinister people. This didn’t happen overnight, but it was a deliberate effort for over 40 years to establish an unchristian nationalism in this country. The faux Christians used an immoral con-man to do their bidding.

We began this nightmare 44 years ago with Reagan. Slowly. Now Trumps handlers have pressed the nitro button into tyranny and we are on the precipice. Only through getting into good trouble will our republic survive.

Asking people to be safe vs. telling 9 million people to evacuate a city are two different things. Only a fool would equate the two.

Of course he should be impeached. But he won’t. There will not even be a vote. Our constitutional government went away on 1/20/25. Officially dead. What we do now is resist.

Democrats should simply skip it. Rather than spend the night sitting on your hands, give him the response he deserves. Give him nothing.
