yeah and in a world where everything had boards, those three winners should and would have probably won still, i think or me it’s just such an integral part of the competition and such a strange one to take away. but i assume it has something to do with the fact GW don’t sell RoB boards anymore

i agree, the idea of armies on parade is seeing everything set up on those boards. the winning one is absolutely gorgeous don’t get me wrong, but it reads to me as more of a golden demon entry

yeah, i was just confused as i thought display boards were sort of a no no now

like this competition used to be my JAM but no centralised in person competition at games day/ warhammer world sort of relegates it to the pitfalls of the ever chosen type stuff. it’s like they’re still running it like it’s the height of the pandemic

just not entirely sure what the scrapping of the display board is all about as that seemed to be the entire thing, then multiple winning entries had display boards?
