The Mourning Dove. Tragically as I explored, I stumbled across this chick crushed and lifeless. These creatures hatch fairly underdeveloped and from the looks of it, the chick wasn’t far from hatching. Its mother coos from above mournfully as its name suggests. Let’s all be kinder to nature.

Cyclical. If there was a way I could describe how nature, the sea, life exists and persists it would be with this word. It’s a constant continuum of birth, a brief moment on consciousness, and eventual apoptosis. The sea symbolically shows this for me—beauty, current, and flow.

With the emergence of spring annually comes the awakening of my dear azaleas. They are truly beautiful flowers and give me indescribable joy when they attract these precious pollinators. Keep seeing the beauty in nature, it makes life worthwhile.

Bisons are beautiful creatures—they reflect the strength of the land, the cooperation of the herd, and the spirit of the indigenous. I hope to see them roam the land as they did years ago, as they should.
