lmao yeah that clause is not why the others haven't been able to compete, sounds like it just stops them from offering "exclusives" tied to other platforms. the main anticompetitive activity valve has engaged in is not making steam dogshit for consumers.

I wouldn't call them a monopoly - they are undoubtedly the biggest company in their area but they're not the one single option and neither have they really tried to be - everyone else has just been really *really* bad at trying to compete
