Natune, the goddess of life - a dark blue & purple skinned woman sits in lotus pose atop an endless pool of water. She is fat & round-faced with a placid expression, clad in a saree and an intricate golden crown of Indian style. Her skin is adorned with complex gilded patterns & she wears fine jewelry interlaced with a variety of blooming flowers, some of which are poisonous. Her hands cup a gilded lotus flower, and all manner of plants float in the pool around her, disturbing her reflection by creating gentle ripples. The armies of the free city pour forth from the walls. The armies of Al'Kirat ride out into the red cursed sands to meet the undead legion of a long-dead gnoll kingdom. Great obsidian automatons in the shape of colossal jackals rumble to life as the horde of ancient gnoll corpses rises from the red sands to sack the city. Even an undead black dragon joins their ranks from above. Under a cursed red moon, the eternal Pharoah of the lost gnoll kingdom brandishes his crook & flail, commanding his host charge forward. Should his plans be fulfilled, the city of Al'Kirat will fall... Will the heroes stop him in time?
